2007 CORPORATION FINANCE DEPARTMENT IN THE MATTER OF ABOITIZ POWER CORPORATION REGISTRATION OF SECURITIES NOTICE Notice is hereby given that on 8 May 2007, an amended sworn registration statement was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission for and on behalf of ABOITIZ POWER CORPORATION for the registration of the following: (1) Up to One Billion Seven Hundred Million (1,700,000,000) common shares, with a par value of Php1.00 per share, that shall be offered and sold by way of a primary offering; and (2) Up to Three Hundred Million (300,000,000) common shares, with par value of Php1.00 per share, to cover over allotments. The offer price will be determined through a book-building process but up to a maximum of P6.00 per share.
