[SEC CASE NO. 3139. December 16, 1987.] ONKAR SINGH BASI, ET AL. , petitioners , vs . SARUP SINGH, ET AL. , respondents . O R D E R Before this Commission is the Motion For Authority To Hold Election on January 15, 1988, filed by SUKDEV SINGH DHALIWAL and JAQBAL SINGH SANDHU. caCSDT Movants alleged the following: That in the last hearing, the parties have manifested their intention to amicably settle the case; that in line thereto, they have agreed to hold the election on January 15, 1988, since the by-laws provide that the regular election for the members of the board of trustees shall be on 4th Wednesday of March each year. Acting on the said motion, counsel for the respondents is hereby given a non-extendible period of five (5) days from receipt hereof within which to file his comment thereon. Thereafter, with or without the comment, the aforesaid motion will be considered submitted for resolution. cASTED Further, considering the non-appearance of counsel for the respondent, today's hearing is hereby cancelled and reset on January 7, 1988 at 2:00 o'clock in the afternoon.
