September 24, 1987 SEC-BED * MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 16-87 TO : All Banks, Quasi-Banking Institutions, Financing Companies, Lending Investors and Similar Entities RE : Cancellation of Liens Over Shares of Stocks For the information and proper guidance of all concerned, all banks, quasi-banking institutions, financing companies, lending investors and similar entities who shall have cancelled their lien over stock certificates of corporations, shares of which are listed in the stock exchanges, are hereby enjoined to give written notice of such cancellation within five (5) days therefrom to the corporation which issued such certificate and its transfer agent.
