September 18, 1987 SEC-BED * MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 14-87 TO : All Issuers of Pre-need Plans RE : Inclusion of Statement of SEC Jurisdiction Over All Cases Involving Pre-Need Plans in all Pre-Need Contracts/Applications For the information of all concerned, all issuers of pre-need contracts are henceforth directed to reflect in all their contracts/plans/applications, the following: All complaints, question of law and other controversies relative to this pre-need plan shall be filed before the Securities and Exchange Commission who has the original exclusive jurisdiction to hear, try and decide cases involving pre-need plans.
