January 13, 2003 SEC ADVISORY MULTITEL INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS, INC. This is to inform the public, specifically the Multitel investors that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed with the Makati Prosecutor's Office, criminal cases against Multitel International Holdings Inc., Rosario Baladjay, et al. for violation of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC). Said cases have been submitted for resolution last 17 December 2002. ESAHca There is no truth in the allegations being spread by Multitel spokesperson/s that there are "direct negotiations going on with the SEC chairperson's office" and that these "negotiations are going well".
