October 4, 2016 SEC ADVISORY ASHOKFX The Securities and Exchange Commission received information that ASHOKFX is engaged in the offering, selling and solicitation of unregistered securities such as Foreign Currency Pairs and Contracts for Difference through an online trading platform called METATRADER4 at Unit 501, Robinson's Corporate Center, EDSA cor. Ortigas Ave., QC. For the information of the public, ASHOKFX is NOT registered with the SEC and the trading in Foreign Currency Pairs and Contracts for Difference are not authorized by the Commission. Hence, the public is advised to STOP investing in the securities offered or sold by ASHOKFX. Further, in the case of ONAPAL PHILIPPINES COMMODITIES, INC. vs. CA (G.R. No. 90707, February 1, 1993) that involved the same securities, the Supreme Court made a pronouncement the "the payments made under the said contract were payments of difference in prices arising out of the rise or fall in the market price above or below the contract price thus making it purely gambling and declared null and void by law."
