December 12, 2023 SEC ADVISORY The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) warns the public against dealing with persons representing themselves as employees of, or connected with, the Commission and offering procurement contracts for a fee. DETACa The SEC strongly advises prospective bidders and the public, in general, to refrain from entertaining and dealing with anyone offering to facilitate procurement contracts and any other transactions with the Commission for a fee or any other personal gain. All procurement contracts of the SEC are awarded through public bidding and the alternative methods of procurement allowed by law. All bidding documents and bulletins, requests for quotation and proposal, as well as the procurement requirements and procedures, are posted on the SEC website at https://www.sec.gov.ph/procurement/public-bidding/bidding-documents-and-bulletins/ . The SEC adheres to the principles of government procurement of transparency, competitiveness, and accountability at the highest levels. The Commission does not tolerate influence peddling and other forms of intervention in its procurement process.
