May 16, 2008 COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCEMENT DEPARTMENT SEC ADVISORY RE : Mohapino International Tobacco Corporation In an advertisement that appeared in the Business Mirror last February 14, 2008, MOHAPINO INTERNATIONAL TOBACCO CORPORATION (MITC), represented by its president Mr. Christopher John Jacobs, a Canadian citizen, invited potential investors to invest in its tobacco business a minimum of Two Million US Dollars ($2,000,000.00) offered an estimated annual return of 12.5%. The public is advised that MOHAPINO INTERNATIONAL TOBACCO CORPORATION (MITC) is NOT a duly registered corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission and is likewise NOT licensed to solicit investments from the public, in accordance with Section 8.1 of the Securities Regulation Code (SRC). Mr. Jacobs is also NOT a licensed broker and/or dealer of securities in accordance with Section 28 of the SRC.
