April 14, 2020 SEC ADVISORY The Commission has received information that individuals or group of persons are using the official SEC logo in social media such as Facebook. Please be advised that the following links are the official pages of the Commission: SEC Website : www.sec.gov.ph SEC Official Facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/PhilippineSEC/ SEC Official Twitter account : https://twitter.com/sec_philippines?lang=en SEC YouTube account : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtm7gNxEFdxeSebs6zQYczA SEC Express System Official Facebook page : https://www.facebook.com/SECExpressSystem/ Be informed further that the SEC logo as appearing above, is duly registered with the National Historical Commission of the Philippines on April 2016 as signed by its Chair and the Office of the President. Except from the above-mentioned official links, the Commission has not recognized/authorized any affiliates nor endorsed any social media account to use its official SEC logo. Thus, the Commission WARNS the public that the SEC official logo is a property of the Commission and all rights pertaining thereto belongs to the Commission. Any unauthorized use or appropriation for business or personal exploitation thereof by individuals or entities without written permission, endorsement or approval by the Commission shall be severely dealt with by law and may incur criminal liability or otherwise sanctioned or penalized accordingly. In view thereof, the public is hereby advised to exercise caution in dealing with any individual or group of persons who use the official SEC Logo in its social media accounts. The public is further advised or discouraged NOT TO TRANSACT in any activities or services being offered by aforesaid entities/individuals and to TRANSACT or COMMUNICATE concerns about SEC matters only through the abovementioned SEC official links and through its contact details provided at the SEC website: www.sec.gov.ph or in-person through our main offices at the PICC or any of our Extension Offices located in major cities of the Philippines or any of our Satellite Offices in selected malls in Metro Manila.
