March 17, 2020 SEC ADVISORY Please be informed that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Main Office in Pasay City, as well as Extension Offices and Satellite Offices located within Luzon, is closed until further notice. This is pursuant to the imposition of an Enhanced Community Quarantine and Stringent Distancing Measures over the entire Luzon effective 12AM, 17 March 2020 and expiring on 12AM, 13 April 2020, as provided in a memorandum issued by the Executive Secretary following the sharp increase in the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases throughout the country. To ensure ease of doing business and facilitate compliance with existing and applicable rules and regulations in this time of emergency, the SEC has implemented work-from-home arrangements. Furthermore, the SEC has adopted measures to help affected companies and other stakeholders cope with the impact of COVID-19. Among others, it has extended the filing period for annual reports and/or annual financial statements, allowed companies to submit their reports through courier, and enabled the participation of directors, trustees, stockholders, members and other persons in meetings through remote communication. The public is advised to monitor the Commission's website ( www.sec.gov.ph ) and official Facebook page (@PhilippineSEC) for more information and further announcements.
