May 28, 2014 SEC ADVISORY OFW's PHILHEALTH REMITTANCES As part of the SEC protective concern to the public, through the assistance of the Philippine Center on Transnational Crime (PCTC), this advisory is posted in view of the reported payment of Philhealth contributions to non-accredited collecting agent abroad or whose accreditation as collecting agent is "on hold". Overseas Contract Workers are thus CAUTIONED to send their contributions through legitimate collecting agents of Philhealth or other government entities only. AaSCTD The public or OFWs are advised to inquire directly from Philhealth and other concerned government institutions as to the accreditation of the collection agency to transact with.
