October 3, 2017 SEC ADMIN. CASE NO. 08-12-158 IN THE MATTER OF MERCATOR FINANCE CORP. ENFORCEMENT AND INVESTOR PROTECTION DEPARTMENT , petitioner . DECISION Pending consideration by the Commission is a Petition (For Revocation of Certificate of Registration) 1 filed by Enforcement and Protection Department (EPD), now Enforcement and Investor Protection Department, of the Commission against Mercator Finance Corp. (Mercator) on 23 August 2012. In an Ex-Parte Manifestation, EPD stated that Mercator's Corporate Term had expired on 22 December 2014 2 evidenced by a Certificate of Corporate Filing/Information issued by the Company Registration and Monitoring Department dated 22 December 2014 of the Commission. 3 WHEREFORE , premises considered, the instant Petition (for Revocation of Certificate of Registration) is hereby DISMISSED for being MOOT and ACADEMIC considering that the Certificate of Registration of Mercator Finance Corp. has already expired on 22 December 2014.
