Munsayac - SP Member I SAN JOSE CITY ORDINANCE NO. 147-14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 01-119 DATED DECEMBER 21, 2001, TITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE REVISED REVENUE CODE OF SAN JOSE CITY", PARTICULARLY SECTION 2A.05. THEREOF Upon suspension of the rules and on motion of Councilor Atty. Jose C. Felimon, Vice-Chairman, Committee on Barangay Affairs, duly seconded by Councilors Jennifer O. Salvador and Jose Y. Francisco, Chairman, Committee on Agriculture, Cooperatives, Environment and Veterinary Services and Committee on Health, Sanitation and Population respectively; HTcADC BE IT ORDAINED AND PROMULGATED BY THIS HONORABLE BODY DURING ITS REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED: SECTION 1. Amendment. There is hereby amended Ordinance No. 01-119 dated December 21, 2001, titled "An Ordinance Adopting the Revised Revenue Code of San Jose City", particularly Section 2a.05. thereof, to wit: Section 2A.05. Tax Discount for Advance and Prompt Payment. If the basic real property and additional SEF tax are paid or before the deadline as provided for Section 2A.05 of this Code, the taxpayer shall be entitled to a discount of ten percent (10%). If the above mentioned taxes are paid in full before December 1, the taxpayer shall be entitled to twenty percent (20%) tax discount. SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. Any ordinance inconsistent herewith is hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 3. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval. APPROVED, September 22, 2014.
