Dollosa SP Member (SK President) ABSENT: NONE SAN CARLOS CITY ORDINANCE NO. 20-08 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3K.02, ARTICLE K OF ORDINANCE NO. 16, SERIES OF 2005, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE STIPULATING FOR ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS TO THE CODIFIED AND REVISED REVENUE CODE OF THE CITY OF SAN CARLOS, PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL", BY TRANSFERRING THE FUNCTIONS OF THE REGISTRATION OF MOTORCABS, TRICYCLE FOR HIRE AND THE ISSUANCE OF METAL PLATES THEREOF FROM THE CITY TREASURER'S OFFICE TO THE CITY MAYOR'S OFFICE Introduced by Hons. Santiago, Yu and Santillan Be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of San Carlos, Negros Occidental, in regular session assembled, that: SECTION 1. The following provisions of Section 3K.02, Article K of Ordinance No. 16, Series of 2005, are hereby amended to read as follows: ARTICLE K Franchise Fees and Other Charges for Motorcabs/Tricycle for Hire Section 3K.02. Administrative Provision: a.) Item 2: A metal plate with a corresponding registry number shall be provided by the City Mayor for every motorcab/tricycle issued a permit. The registry number assigned to a motorcab/tricycle for hire shall be its permanent number and cannot be given to another. b.) Item 3: The City Mayor shall keep a registry of all motorcabs, tricycle for hire which shall include the following information : a.) Make and brand of the motorcab/Tricycle b.) The name and address of the owner; and c.) Plate number d.) Name of Driver issued a permit The PNP Traffic Division of the city shall be furnished this list. c.) Item 5: The change of ownership for motorcab/tricycle for hire shall be registered with the Office of the City Mayor, which shall be properly recorded in the Registry Book. SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. All local ordinances, resolutions, local executive orders, rules and regulation or part thereof, in conflict or inconsistent with this ordinance, are hereby repealed or modified accordingly. SECTION 3. Effectivity. This ordinance shall take effect on the day after compliance of the required 10-day posting of the approved ordinance in the bulletin at the entrance of the City Hall and in at least two (2) conspicuous places within San Carlos City. The posting shall have commenced not later than five (5) days after the approval of this Ordinance. aTHCSE ENACTED: DECEMBER 18, 2008, by the affirmative votes of Hons.
