November 22, 1952 REVENUE REGULATIONS NO. V-33 SUBJECT : Revising the Rates of Withholding Tax on Wages Found in Revenue Regulations No. V-8 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned SECTION 1. In view of the reversion to the rates of income tax for individuals prescribed in Republic Act No. 82, pursuant to section 16 of Republic Act No. 590, every employer who pays wages to an employee must withhold from such wages an amount computed in accordance with the attached tables. SECTION 2. These withholding tax tables supersede those found on pages 10 to 19 of Revenue Regulations No. V-8. SECTION 3. These regulations shall take effect on January 1, 1953. (SGD.)
