February 21, 2005 REVENUE OPERATIONS ORDER NO. 01-05 TO : The Regional Director Revenue Region No. 11, Iloilo City Taxpayers and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Creation of a BIR Office in Boracay, Malay, Aklan, as an Extension Office to RDO 71, Kalibo, Aklan OBJECTIVES 1. To better service the tax compliance needs of taxpayers and businesses in Boracay, Malay, Aklan. 2. To enhance the effectiveness of BIR's supervision and control as well as the enforcement of tax laws, rules and regulations over taxpayers and businesses in Boracay. 3. To reduce the cost of compliance with and administration of tax laws in Boracay. 2005cdtai GENERAL PROVISIONS The Regional Director, RR 11 is hereby authorized to: 1. Assign as many revenue officers and personnel in Boracay as are necessary to achieve the objectives of this Order. 2. To rent or lease office space for the conduct of BIR business in the area. 3. To issue written orders for the conduct of administrative and operational activities in the area. 4. To define the scope and limit of operations to be conducted by the extension office as well as reporting relationship with RDO 71 and RR 11. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.)
