Amendment to RMO 21-94 defining the new composition of the Committee on Disposal of Specialized Accountable Forms in the National Office

October 19, 1998 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 85-98 SUBJECT : Amendment to RMO 21-94 defining the new composition of the Committee on Disposal of Specialized Accountable Forms in the National Office TO : All Internal Revenue Officers, Employees and Others Concerned In view of the phasing out of some services/divisions of the Bureau as authorized by Executive Order No. 430, the Committee on Disposal of Specialized Accountable Forms in the National Office is hereby reconstituted as follows: llcd Chairman - Head Revenue Executive Assistant (Internal Affairs Service) or his duly authorized representative; Member - Assistant Chief Accountable Forms Division Member - Chief of Revenue/Disbursement Accounting Division or his duly authorized representative; Witness - Resident COA Auditor to the Bureau of Internal Revenue or his duly authorized representative It shall be the function of the Committee to appraise and conduct an inventory of all obsolete, damaged, cancelled accountable forms for disposal referred to it by the Chief, Accountable Forms Division and by other revenue accountable officers assigned in the National Office. Upon approval of the Authority to Dispose, the Committee on Disposal of Specialized Accountable Forms shall proceed with the disposal of the obsolete, cancelled or spoiled accountable forms in accordance with existing COA rules and regulations. The Committee shall prepare and submit a report and certificate of destruction to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue after completion of every destruction by burning of particular items or bulk of accountable forms stated in the authority granted by the Commissioner. The Committee shall convene and discharge its functions whenever the necessity therefore exists. All other orders which are inconsistent herewith, are hereby superseded.
