Creation of an inspection and acceptance committee in the Revenue district offices

December 9, 1994 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 72-94 SUBJECT : Creation of an Inspection and Acceptance Committee in the Revenue District Offices TO : All BIR officials and Employees In line with the prescribed procedures in the inspection and acceptance of deliveries of BIR forms to be printed for the Bureau of Internal Revenue by Apo Production Unit, Inc. and following the recommendations of the Commission on Audit, there is hereby created in every Revenue District Office of the Bureau not located within the Regional Office building an Inspection & Acceptance Committee, with the Assistant Revenue District Officer and Chief, Administrative Section as members: This Committee shall perform the following functions: acd 1. Inspect and accept all deliveries of BIR tax forms, using as basis the Purchase Order/Letter Order/Contract and other documents: 2. Ascertain that the particular delivery conforms with the specifications called for in the Purchases Order/Letter Order/Contract and other documents; 3. Prepare letter/request addressed to the nearest COA Auditor for inspection of the items delivered at the Revenue District Office within twenty-four (24) hours. 4. Prepare and submit the required inspection report to the Procurement Division of the BIR National Office, furnishing a copy thereof to the COA representative. The Regional Inspection and Acceptance Committee shall take charge of the inspection of all deliveries of BIR forms to the Regional Office and the Revenue District Office(s) located in the same building as the region, upon acceptance of the items delivered.
