August 16, 1999 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 65-99 SUBJECT : Addendum Amending the Slogan and Pertinent Provisions of the Raffle Mechanics for "Humingi ng Resibo, Milyun-Milyon ang Panalo" TO : All Assistant Commissioners, Regional Directors, Revenue District Officers and Other Internal Revenue Officers Concerned This is an addendum amending the slogan of the Raffle Promo and the pertinent provisions of the raffle mechanics for " Humingi ng Resibo, Milyun-Milyon ang Panalo " specifically of Paragraphs III (1) IV (2) (a) (b) (f) (3) (g) (2) V (h) (3) of RMO 35-99 as amended by RMO 40-99 and amending further the slogan of the forthcoming raffle promo per RMO 40-99, " Humingi ng Resibo, Milyun-Milyon ang Panalo ", now to read " Humingi ng Resibo, Milyun-Milyon ang Panalo : Millennium Draw ". casia A. Paragraph III (Subparagraph 1) of RMO 35-99 as amended by RMO 40-99 now reads: 1. Sales invoices and receipts issued by taxpayers within the jurisdictional cities and municipalities starting August 1, 1999 to draw dates for the District, Regional, Area and National Draws shall qualify for the raffle draws. B. Paragraph IV (Subparagraph 2) of RMO 35-99 as amended by RMO 40-99 now reads: 2. The following is the schedule of the raffle draws with the corresponding prizes to be awarded. a. District Draw - November 26, 1999 P10,000 Each for 10 winners b. Regional Draw - December 5, 1999 P100,000 - 1st Prize Establishment - P10,000 P 50,000 - 2nd Prize Establishment - P 5,000 P 30,000 - 3rd Prize Establishment - P 3,000 Consolation Prizes: P10,000 Each for 10 winners P5,000 Each for 20 winners c. Area Draw - Mindanao (Cagayan de Oro) - December 12, 1999 Visayas (Cebu) - December 14, 1999 Luzon (Pampanga) - December 16, 1999 NCR (Quezon City) - December 18, 1999 P500,000 - 1st Prize Establishment - P50,000 P300,000 - 2nd Prize Establishment - P30,000 P100,000 - 3rd Prize Establishment - P10,000 Consolation Prizes: P20,000 Each for 5 winners P10,000 Each for 10 winners P 5,000 Each for 20 winners d. Paragraph V (Subparagraph 2) of RMO 35-99 as amended by RMO 40-99 now reads: 2. For the National Draw, receipts shall be retrieved by the Revenue District Officers from drop box centers within their jurisdiction or the District Draw on November 26, 1999, after which the non-winning receipt-entries will be forwarded to their Regional Offices for the Regional Draw on December 5, 1999. After the Regional Draw, these will then be forwarded to Regional Offices Cagayan de Oro (for Mindanao Area), Cebu (for Visayas Area), Pampanga (for Luzon Area) and Quezon City (for NCR Area) for the Area Draw. Immediately after the Area Draw, all the non-winning receipt-entries will be forwarded to the National Office, thru the Chief, Taxpayer Information and Education Division (TIED), for the National Draw set on December 20, 1999. D. Paragraph V (Subparagraph 3) of RMO 35-99 as amended by RMO 40-99 now reads: 3. The Revenue District Officers thru their Regional Directors shall prepare a report using the format in Annex A prescribed under RMO 35-99 on the locations of posters, streamers and drop boxes and the name of the responsible persons for the delivery of the drop boxes in designated drop box centers and retrieval of the receipts and submit the same on or before September 3, 1999 to the TIED.
