August 24, 1966 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 59-66 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned Quoted hereunder is Department Memorandum Circular No. 39-66 of the Department of Finance, dated August 16, 1966, entitled "Presidential prohibition against the assignment of any investigating team to the bureau of Customs," for the information and guidance of all internal revenue officers and others concerned: "DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 39-66 "TO : All heads of national bureaus and offices under the Department of Finance "SUBJECT : Presidential prohibition against the assignment of any investigating team to the Bureau of Customs "Quoted hereunder in full, for your information and compliance is the Memorandum to all concerned dated July 15, 1966 of the President of the Philippines, relative to the above subject-matter: '"Effective immediately no investigating team shall be assigned to the Bureau of Customs from any other offices in the executive department without previous orders or clearance from the Office of the President. '"All investigating units, from other offices in the executive department, presently assigned to the Bureau of Customs, shall immediately submit their final reports to the Office of the President and, within one week from receipt hereof, return to their respective offices for re-assignment. '"Strict compliance herewith is enjoined."'
