Punctual and Faithful Attendance in the Seminar on Business Taxes

November 16, 1977 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 57-77 SUBJECT : Punctual and Faithful Attendance in the Seminar on Business Taxes TO : All Internal Revenue Officials and other employees concerned This refers to the Seminar on Business Taxes scheduled for December 12-22, 1977, pursuant to the instructions contained in Revenue Memorandum Order No. 50-77. cdt To insure the accomplishment of the objectives of the seminar and the proper use of valuable government resources particularly, employee time, the following instructions are hereby issued for the strict compliance of all concerned: Central Office : 1. The Chief, Career Development Division shall assign at least one Training Officer to record and check on the attendance of participants insofar as the Seminar for Central Office personnel is concerned. 2. The Training Officer concerned shall immediately report to the Chairman of the Seminar Committee the names of fieldmen who have incurred three (3) absences (whether whole day or half-day). 3. Within 72 hours, after the end of the Seminar, the Chief, Career Development Division shall make an overall report to the Chairman, Committee on Seminar on Business Taxes on the attendance of revenue personnel concerned. Regional Office : 1. The Revenue Regional Director concerned shall assign at least one of his key staff officers to record and check on the attendance of regional revenue personnel in the Seminar. 2. Within 72 hours, after the end of the Seminar, the Regional Director concerned shall report to the Chairman, Committee on Seminar on Business Taxes, an overall report on the attendance of revenue personnel concerned. The Revenue Service Chief (Inspection) is also hereby instructed to field personnel of the Inspection Service to conduct unscheduled check-up of the attendance of revenue personnel who are attending the Seminar in the Central Office or in Revenue Region No. 4-A (Manila) and Revenue Region No. 4-B (Quezon City). In case, there are personnel from the Inspection Service who happen to be on field assignment from December 12 to 22, they shall also be instructed that in addition to their primary mission, they should also Conduct unscheduled check up on the attendance of participants in the Seminar in the Regional Office where they happen to be.
