Attendance of Certain Personnel in the Third Professional and Productivity Development Course for Revenue Officers

September 29, 1966 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 57-66 Pursuant to the provisions of Executive Order No. 88 of the President of the Philippines and Republic Act 1642 authorizing the establishment of a continuing academic program to prepare and develop government officers and employees for greater and higher duties and responsibilities and in accordance with the arrangements made with the Finance Academy of the Philippines, the following personnel are hereby directed to take the Third Professional and Productivity Development Course for Revenue Officers to be conducted by the Finance Academy of the Philippines which is scheduled to open on October 17, 1966 at the Doa Amparo Building, 5th Floor, corner Espaa and Catalua Streets, Manila. 1. Conanan National Office In line with the present program of the Academy, the classes will be conducted in the morning only from 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon and the participants mentioned are hereby temporarily relieved of their official duties and functions during their attendance in the classes. It is understood that they will report for duty in their respective offices in the afternoon. The course will cover approximately six (6) months after which the participants shall be given the final average rating for purposes of graduation based from ratings obtained in the examinations given from time to time, attendance, and other academic requirements prescribed by the Finance Academy. The rating and conduct of each participant in this course will constitute part of his personal service records and shall be considered as one of the factors for determining his efficiency ratings, work assignments, transfer to other regions, divisions or units of organizations, and promotion consistent with the Memorandum Circular of the Bureau of Civil Service, dated September 10, 1958, approved by the Office of the President. Accordingly, the final rating of each participant obtained at the end of the course shall be furnished the Commissioner of Internal Revenue, the corresponding regional director, the immediate chief of the participant, the personnel officer, and the Commissioner of Civil Service. All officials or supervisors concerned are hereby enjoined to notify and direct the participants to report to the Finance Academy of the Philippines on October 17, 1966, and provide necessary arrangements in order to insure normal operation of their respective offices. aisadc MISAEL P.
