June 4, 1999 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 53-99 TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees SUBJECT : Amendment to RMO No. 6-95 dated February 7, 1995 on the Implementation of Memorandum Circular No. 111 Pursuant to the Memorandum dated April 14, 1997 of the Executive Secretary, Revenue Memorandum Order No. 6-95 is hereby amended by providing for the observance of a three-shift working day, exclusive of lunch break, (unpaid) as follows: a) 1st Shift: 7:00 am to 11:00 am / 12:00 Noon to 4:00 pm Lunch Break: 11:00 am to 12:00 Noon b) 2nd Shift: 8:00 am to 12:00 Noon / 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm Lunch Break: 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm c) 3rd Shift: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Lunch Breaks: 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm However, for Information Systems Group (ISG), personnel on shifting time schedule the following shall be observed, inclusive of lunch break, (paid) as follows: cdll a) 1st Shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm Break: 10:00 am to 10:30 am b) 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm Breaks: 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm c) 3rd Shift; 10:00 pm to 6:00 pm Break: 2:00 am to 2:30 am Thus, there is no need to punch their bundy cards with the half-hour breaks. All Offices specified under RMO No. 6-95 listed below shall observe the new three-shift time schedule: a) Revenue District Office Office of the Revenue District Officer/Asst. Revenue District Officer Assessment Section Registration and Regulatory Section Collection Section Document Processing Section Taxpayer Service Counter b) Revenue Regional Office Office of the Regional Director/Asst. Regional Director Assessment Division Collection Division Legal Division c) National Office Office of the Commissioner Office of the Deputy Commissioner Withholding Agents Monitoring Division General Services Division Taxpayer's Information and Education Division Appellate Division Law Division Document and Processing Division d) Other Divisions and Units which are directly confronted by taxpayers for revenue services . All Heads of Offices shall ensure the equitable distribution of manpower during the abovementioned shifts. This Order shall take effect immediately. (SGD.) BEETHOVEN L.
