August 30, 1993 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 48-93 In conformity with Civil Service Commission rules and policies on promotion, the Committee on Contested Appointments is hereby reconstituted to decide on all protested appointments to ensure an impartial and objective study and review of protested appointments. The members are as follows: CHAIRMAN Rene G. Baez Deputy Commissioner MEMBERS Assistant Commissioner - Legal Service Assistant Commissioner - Administrative Service Assistant Commissioner - Service where item is authorized Chief, Personnel Division Secretary - Ms. Segunda de Andres The Committee may call the members of the Selection/Promotions Board, the supervisors of the contending parties, as well as the parties themselves to give further information, clarification or justification regarding the protested appointments. cd The Committee shall promulgate decisions within 60 days from the issuance of appointments pursuant to Civil Service Commission rules and policies on promotions and shall be submitted to the Commissioner of Internal Revenue for approval within the same period.
