December 1, 1995 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 43-95 SUBJECT : Reimbursable Transportation Allowance of BIR Officials and Employees TO : All Internal Revenue Officers Concerned Considering that BIR Officers and employees are receiving inadequate transportation allowances when they go out on field assignments and considering further that they should not be made to personally shoulder the travelling expenses incurred in connection with the performance of their official duties, there is need to adjust the reimbursable transportation allowances of revenue officers, collection officers and other personnel as prescribed under RMO No. 11-80 dated February 27, 1980 as last amended by RMO 11-91 dated April 9, 1991. The new rates of monthly allowances to which revenue personnel are entitled depending on their position and assignment, are as follows: Present Rate New Rate P390 P540 430 580 450 600 500 650 530 680 590 740 660 810 800 950 The foregoing monthly rates shall take effect December 1, 1995.
