May 14, 1999 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 42-99 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Employees Concerned SUBJECT : Delegation of Authority to Verify or Certify Pleading to be Filed in Court Pursuant to Section 7 of the National Internal Revenue Code, the authority of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue to verify or certify pleadings to be filed by this Bureau is hereby delegated to the Deputy Commissioner, Legal and Enforcement Group, in the absence of the Commissioner. dctai This Order takes effect immediately.
