December 8, 1992 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 42-92 SUBJECT : Suspension of All Field Operations of the Bureau Effective December 15, 1992 TO : All Revenue Service Chiefs, Regional Directors, RDOs and All Others Concerned Effective December 15, 1992 all field operations of this Bureau relative to examination and verification of taxpayers records and other transactions are hereby suspended until January 16, 1993 in keeping with the Spirit of the Holiday Season. The following however are not covered by this suspension: 1. No contact surveillance of all establishments 2. Service of Warrants and Seizure Notices for prescribing cases The suspension will give all Revenue Officers time to submit all reports of investigation pending in their possession and to clear all backlog for the start of the New Year.
