Monitoring of Property Accountability

August 24, 1989 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 40-89 SUBJECT : Monitoring of Property Accountability TO : All Internal Revenue Personnel This Revenue Memorandum Order is promulgated to facilitate the monitoring of accountability of each revenue personnel. This is prepared to support the COMPUTERIZED PROPERTY ACCOUNTABILITY SYSTEM which was developed by Management Information and Data Control Systems Division upon the request of the Administrative Service. This system aims to provide timely reports which would be used for control and clearance purposes. 1. Reports Required All personnel in-charge of property control within their units/offices/divisions/branches/districts shall prepare a List of Accountability in the form prescribed in Annex A hereof. The List shall be prepared in triplicate to be distributed as follows: a) original and duplicate - to be forwarded to the Assistant Commissioner (Administrative Service) Attention: Property Division b) triplicate - to be retained by the division/unit/ office for file 2. Time for Submission The aforesaid List shall be submitted on or before October 31, 1989. Subsequently, modifications in the submitted List shall be submitted monthly using the same prescribed form. 3. Processing of Reports The Administrative Service/Property Division shall: a) segregate the reports submitted by office/region; b) input in the computer all data on properties acquired by each revenue personnel; acd c) generate the following reports: - List of Property Accountability of Each office - List of Property Accountability of Each Revenue Personnel - List of Distribution of Each Property Effectivity This Order takes effect immediately. aisa dc (SGD.)
