August 13, 1968 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 40-68 Acceding to her request and in view of the recommendation of the Chief, International Operations Division, Mrs. BASILA LILY WONG AGUINALDO is hereby relieved of her present assignment as Revenue Collector I in Revenue Region No. 8, South Manila and allowed to proceed to Sydney, Australia to undertake some research work for the Bureau of Internal Revenue. She is expected to hold office in the Philippine Embassy thereat. It is to be understood that this assignment shall not entail any expense on the part of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, particularly regarding travel expenses and other allowances. The Chief, Budget Division is being instructed in this connection to remit to Mrs. Aguinaldo, c/o Philippine Embassy, Sydney, Australia her salaries in dollars based on the open market exchange rate. If the research of Mrs. Aguinaldo calls for travel from Sydney to any other place in Australia, such travel must first be approved by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the amount necessary to defray her transportation expenses will first be set aside by the Chief, Budget Division for such purpose prior to her undertaking the travel. Before leaving for her new assignment, she must first comply with the requirements of Field Circular No. V-25 regarding inventory of pending papers, correspondence and property responsibilities in her possession. cdtech This Order takes effect immediately.
