Creation of an Inspection and Acceptance Committee in Every Revenue Data Center (RDC)

April 28, 1998 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 39-98 SUBJECT : Creation of an Inspection and Acceptance Committee in Every Revenue Data Center (RDC) TO : All RDC Heads, Employees and Others Concerned Currently, inspection and acceptance of deliveries of office supplies and equipment requisitioned by RDCs are performed by the Inspection and Acceptance Committee (IAC) of the host revenue region (RR). Since RDC is an independent unit from an RR, an Inspection and Acceptance Committee (IAC-RDC) is hereby created to be composed of the following: Chairman : Head, Quality Assurance Department or his duly authorized representative Members : Head, Administrative Department or his duly authorized representative A representative of the Requisitioning Unit whose expertise may be needed to determine the acceptability of the supplies, materials, spare parts and/or equipment delivered. The IAC-RDC shall perform the following functions: 1. Inspect and accept all deliveries of the items shown in the Purchase Order/Letter Order/Contract/Job Order initiated at the data center. LexLib 2. Ascertain the conformity of the deliveries with the specifications in the Purchase Order/Letter Order/Contract/ Job Order and other documents. 3. Test the supplies, pre-printed continuous forms, spare parts for electronic equipment, etc. in order to determine its fitness and/or quality. 4. Prepare and submit an inspection report to the Procurement Division of the BIR National Office, copy furnished the resident COA Auditor.
