Monthly Allocation of NGA Rice to Government Employees

July 23, 1975 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 39-75 TO : All Revenue Service Chiefs, Division Chiefs, National Office and Regional Directors, Revenue Region Nos. 4-A, Manila and 4-B, Quezon City For the information and guidance of all concerned, quoted hereunder is a letter of Regional Director Ruel A. Montenegro, Manila Regional Office, National Grains Authority dated July 7, 1975, which is self-explanatory: "Sir: "The National Grains Authority has several varieties of good quality rice presently stored in its warehouses in Greater Manila. "These are: VARIETY WEIGHT/BAG PRICE/BAG Native Rice (IR-20) 50.14 95.25 China Rice 50.14 92.45 Japanese Rice 50.14 92.45 "The NGA is making these varieties available to employees of all government offices on a monthly basis starting July, 1975. "Employees of the respective government offices may avail of their monthly allocation of NGA rice thru their Personnel Officer or any designated person in authority to deal with us. "The NGA shall deliver all cereals to the respective government offices free of handling and trucking charges. "In case your employees may be interested, kindly inform us in writing or call telephone numbers 50-56-71 to 75. "We would like to be of utmost service to our fellow government employees by satisfying their rice requirements at the government controlled price. "We anticipate your kind reply at the very soonest. MONTENEGRO Regional Director, MRO" All concerned are requested to submit immediately to the Chief, General Services Division, a list of all employees under their respective offices who may want to avail themselves of a monthly allocation of NGA rice in order that representations will be made by this Bureau with the National Grains Authority.
