July 1, 1997 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 37-97 SUBJECT : "Sayawat" Cultural Presentation TO : All Revenue Officials and Employees On the occasion of the Bureau's 93rd Anniversary celebration, each Regional Office and each Group in the National Office will be required to participate in a " Sayawit " Cultural Presentation that will be held for this purpose. " Sayawit " is derived from the words " sayaw " and " awit " of which the presentation is all about. This activity is intended to foster camaraderie among our staff, as well as to highlight the Anniversary Theme Moving Towards a World Class BIR . I. RULES AND GUIDELINES 1. Participation is mandatory for all concerned offices. Regional Offices 19 groups National Office 3 groups (Operations, RMG, ISG) Total 22 groups 2. Each presentation should have relevance to the Anniversary Theme Moving Towards a World Class BIR . 3. The period of reference: Anytime from year 1990 to year 2000. 4. The maximum number of participants for each group: Twenty (20) persons, including musicians, if any. 5. All participants should be permanent employees (excluding contractual). 6. I . D . requirement : Presentation of I.D. to the National Office Coordinators at least one (1) hour before the contest. 7. Time Frame : A. Preparation of props: Five (5) minutes or less. B. Actual Presentation: Fifteen (15) minutes or less. II. PHASES A.
