July 13, 1989 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 35-89 SUBJECT : Collection of Delinquent Accounts TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned Pending the indefinite suspension of tax audits provided for by RMO No. 2-89A, all Revenue Enforcement Officers are hereby directed to perform field collection work in order to reduce the number of our delinquent account receivables which is increasing on a yearly basis inspite of our efforts to close these cases thru compromise agreement. cd i All Revenue District Officers are hereby directed to implement this Order and Regional Directors shall monitor the performance of all Revenue District Offices within the region. Compliance with this order will be considered as a performance factor in transfers or assignments of Revenue District Officers and Revenue Enforcement Officers and Group Supervisors. cd (SGD.)
