November 25, 1987 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 33-87 SUBJECT : Transfer of the Registration of Books of Accounts from the Office of the Revenue District Offices to the Office of the Revenue Collection Offices TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned Pursuant to Revenue Regulations No. 6-87, amending Section 19(a) of Revenue Regulations No. V-1, otherwise known as the Bookkeeping Regulations, the registration of the books of accounts of taxpayers who are required by law to pay internal revenue taxes is now lodged in the Office of Revenue Collection Officers and in the Offices of Municipal Treasurers duly deputized as Revenue Collection Agent. aisa dc Accordingly, all Revenue District Officers shall immediately train all their Revenue Collection Officers on the procedures heretofore followed on the said registration, how the corresponding records are kept, and the submission of reports pertinent thereto to his Office, showing the names and addresses of registrants and the kind of books of accounts registered. cd i This registration of books of accounts adverted to herein shall commence January 1, 1988.
