Participation of the BIR in the Rural Service Volunteers Philippines Program

May 21, 1975 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 31-75 This Office has accepted and approved the offer of the Rural Service Volunteers' Philippines (RSVP) to provide the bureau with Junior and Senior college students who will serve as volunteers in the Bureau's rural tax information-education campaign. To carry out this program between the BIR and the RSVP, the Management Planning Department thru the Chief, Tax Information-Education Division, is hereby directed to draw up the plans and details to implement this Agreement. The Chief, Training Division is hereby, directed to provide a space in his office for the RSVP Secretariat that will be set up at the Bureau. Together with the Chief, Tax Information-Education Division, the Chief, Training Division is further directed to prepare a training program for the volunteer workers. Their reports and recommendations must be submitted to this Office, thru the Assistant Commissioner, Mr. Lauro D. Abrahan not later than May 30, 1975. MISAEL P.
