August 31, 2001 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 31-01 SUBJECT : Guidelines and Procedures for the Remote Printing of Report (list of A/R cases) and other related A/R correspondences from Makati Data Center (MDC)/Revenue Date Centers (RDCs) to the Computerized RDOs TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Employees Concerned I. OBJECTIVES This Order is issued to: 1. Set policies, guidelines and procedures for the remote printing of report (list of AR cases) and other related A/R correspondences at the Collection Section of computerized RDOs. 2. Define roles and responsibilities of the offices concerned. II. POLICIES AND GUIDELINES 1. The procedures given on this Order shall be initially applied to Makati Data Center (MDC) and shall consequently be adopted by other Revenue Data Centers (RDCs) as AR capability is rolled-out. 2. The module which will generate the report (list of A/R cases) shall be included in MDC/RDCs weekly batch run every Saturday and A/R correspondence shall be included in the daily batch jobs. 3. Systems Maintenance & Support Division (SMSD) of Information Systems Development Service (ISDS) shall create a module that enables computerized RDOs to specifically print AR correspondence for AR cases within their jurisdiction only. 4. Security Management Division (SMD) of Information Planning & Quality Service (IPQS) shall issue regular access to the Chief and Assistant Chief-Collection Section of computerized RDOs to view/print the report and correspondences. III. PROCEDURES A. Collection Section of Computerized RDOs shall : 1. View/Print the report every Monday morning; 2. Review listing of A/R cases and assign to seizure agent; 3. View/Print A/R correspondence based on the assigned A/R cases and corresponding case template; and 4. Notify MDC/RDCs of any problems encountered in printing the report thru telephone or e-mail. B. Makati Data Center/Revenue Data Centers (MDC/RDCs) The Computer Operations Network and Engineering Division (CONED) shall: 1. Run the module which will generate report (list of A/R cases) every Saturday and AR correspondence everyday; and 2. Assist and resolve problems/errors encountered by RDOs in printing the report. IV.
