May 17, 1989 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 30-89 SUBJECT : Revocation of Designations of Acting Revenue Enforcement Officers TO : Assistant Commissioners, Regional Directors, Revenue District Officers, Chiefs of Branches and Others Concerned It has been observed that many employees were designated as Acting Revenue Enforcement Officers and are performing the function of regular Revenue Enforcement Officers in the Assessment, Collection and Excise Tax Services. As a matter of policy, the Bureau finds this set-up quite anomalous. The recruitment of qualified applicants to the position of Revenue Enforcement Officers is being intensified for deployment to various units in the Bureau. In view of this, it is hereby ordered that all designations to Acting Revenue Enforcement Officers are revoked and all personnel so designated are hereby ordered to return to their original status in accordance with their approved appointments.
