May 12, 1975 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 30-75 SUBJECT : Requiring Compliance to Revenue Memorandum Order No. 15-68 dated February 14, 1968 Re: Submission of Sealed Combinations of Steel Safes or Vaults by Accountable Officers TO : All Revenue Directors, Chiefs of Administrative Branches, Revenue Collection Agents, Cash Clerks and Others Concerned It has been observed that there is non-compliance to Revenue Memorandum Order No. 15-68 amending Revenue Circular No. 25-62 regarding the submission of sealed combinations of steel safes or vaults by Accountable Officers. Several communications have been received requesting for the combinations of certain safes or file-safe combination cabinets and there are many instances when safes have been forced open. In order to avoid similar recurrence, the following instructions are hereby ordered to be complied with: cd (1) All accountable officers and revenue collection agents of all regional offices, with safes or vaults in their custodies, shall submit the sealed combinations in General Form No. 85 to their respective Chiefs of the Administrative Branch. (2) All Chiefs of Administrative Branches should keep these sealed combinations in their own safes. Then their safe combinations should be sealed in like manner and sent to the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services). (3) Division Chiefs and other officers not within any revenue region should likewise submit the sealed combinations of their safes to the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services).
