June 14, 1968 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 29-68 SUBJECT : Pre-Service Training Course Mindful of the basic needs for the training of applicants to sensitive internal revenue positions as well as the need to integrate into the revenue personnel force only the best materials for appointment to positions of revenue examiners and investigators, the Bureau of Internal Revenue will conduct a pre-service training course for applicants to available items of revenue examiners and investigators. cdtech The training course will be undertaken on a project basis with the Chairman, Project Coordinators Group and the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services) jointly shouldering the responsibilities for the success of the course. The development of the brochures and the course content, including the orientation of training instructors, shall be the responsibility of the Chairman, Project Coordinators Group. The administration aspects of the training shall be the responsibility of the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services) thru the Training Division Staff. Attached is the class schedule for the course which shall be undertaken for a period of roughly eight weeks. The course shall start on July 1, 1968. The Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services) shall provide the necessary facilities for training. The Revenue Operations Head (Management Planning) as Chairman, Project Coordinators Group, shall prepare the notice to every accepted participant and to every training instructor. The latter shall be informed of the date, the time and the subject matter he is to teach in the training course. All training instructors are required to attend a conference before the start of the course to be called by the Chairman, Project Coordinators Group. Right after the completion of the course, the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services) shall submit a report to the Deputy Commissioner (Administration) furnishing a copy thereof to the Revenue Operations Head (Management Planning).
