Amendment to Revenue Memorandum Order No. 24-68

May 28, 1968 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 28-68 SUBJECT : Amendment to Revenue Memorandum Order No . 24-68 This order modifies Revenue Memorandum Order No. 24-68 on the subject: "Prescribing the use of nameplates by revenue offices and employees in the National Office, Revenue Regions, Revenue District Offices and Offices of Collection Agents". As most of the executive and middle-executive officials of the BIR have nameplates at their desks and/or signboards at their offices' doors indicating their names and the positions they occupy, the following officials are exempted from the use of nameplates on their attires: LLphil 1. Revenue Operations Heads 2. Assistant Revenue Operations Heads 3. Regional Directors 4. Assistant Regional Directors 5. Division Chiefs in the National Office 6. Revenue District Officers The above officials are, however, requested to have desk nameplates showing their respective designations. All other officials and employees of the Bureau not expressly exempted from the use of nameplates by this order nor impliedly exempted by Revenue Memorandum Order No. 24-68 shall comply with the latter order. Revenue personnel assigned to regional offices, district offices and collection units, not exempted as provided for above, are directed to wear their nameplates when transacting business in the National Office. Likewise, National Office personnel, not exempted from wearing nameplates, are directed to wear their nameplates when on business in revenue field offices.
