Inventory of Revenue Tax Receipt

September 12, 1978 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 27-78 SUBJECT : Inventory of Revenue Tax Receipt TO : All Regional Directors and Others Concerned In order to have a more effective control of Revenue Tax Receipt (RTR), all Regional Directors are hereby directed to conduct a monthly inventory of Revenue Tax Receipts in their respective region and to submit a report thereof to this Office indicating the following: cdt 1. Number of RTR booklets received by the Regional Office. 2. Number of RTR booklets issued to each District Collection Supervisor and the serial numbers thereof. 3. Number of RTR booklets issued by District Collection Supervisors to each Collecting Officer and the serial numbers thereof. 4. Number of RTR's issued by Collecting Officer to taxpayers and the serial numbers thereof. 5. Number of RTR's lost, missing, or otherwise unaccounted for, and the name of the accountable officer to whom charged, and the serial numbers thereof. 6. Number of RTR's cancelled by each Collecting Officer and the serial numbers thereof. 7. Number of unissued RTR's in the hands of the Chief, Administrative Branch, District Collection Supervisor and Collecting Officer. The report for the month of August, 1978 shall be submitted not later than September 22, 1978. Thereafter, the monthly report shall be submitted not later than the 10th day of the following month. The inventory report herein required shall be reconciled with the control record for RTR's kept in the Regional Office and the RTR Custodian's Report on RTR Received, Issued, and Unissued rendered by the Chief, Administrative Branch. The report shall likewise tally with the Monthly Report of Accountability for Accountable Forms (General Form No. 16 (A) submitted to the Commission on Audit at the end of each month.
