May 29, 1968 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 27-68 SUBJECT : Amendment to Revenue Memorandum Circular No . 21-68 dated May 10, 1968 This is an amendment to Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 21-68 on the subject, "Identifying marks for RP vehicles; publishing Memorandum Circular No. 170 of the Executive Secretary". Due to the limited space on the sides of some of the official vehicles particularly RP jeeps where the prescribed markings are to be painted and to provide for uniform markings for all official vehicles, the Revenue Operations Head (Administrative Services) shall issue immediately a stencil guide (in cardboard for economy purposes) to all regional offices with the markings: FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY and BUREAU OF INTERNAL REVENUE. LLjur It shall be the responsibility of the Regional Director to reproduce this stencil, if necessary, for purposes of distribution to officials in his region who were issued vehicles. He shall likewise see to it that all RP vehicles in his region are so properly marked not later than June 30, 1968. The size of the letters for marking vehicles and target date for compliance as stated in the Revenue Memorandum Circular are therefore modified. All other portions of the Circular stand unamended. RP vehicles issued security plates shall be exempt from this order. Please be guided accordingly. cd MISAEL P. VERA Commissioner of Internal Revenue
