July 2, 1976 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 25-76 TO : All Regional Directors concerned SUBJECT : Prevention of Rescission of Land Donation In furtherance of the building construction program of this Bureau, lots for the construction of Revenue Regional Offices have been acquired by the Bureau of Internal Revenue thru donations duly approved by the Secretary of Finance under the condition that the B.I.R. would erect its regional offices within a limited period of time, otherwise the donations would be cancelled automatically. cdt In view of the ban on new building constructions, we cannot undertake the construction of regional office buildings during this year. However, the greatest efforts will be exerted to secure authority to construct them soon. In the meantime, all regional directors concerned are hereby enjoined to see to it that before the expiry period of each donation, representations be made by the regional director to the authorities concerned in the city or province for at least one year extension. Immediate attention is called to the fact that the deadlines for construction are August 20, 1976 for San Pablo City and August 31, 1976 for Tuguegarao, Cagayan. EFREN I.
