April 30, 1993 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 24-93 SUBJECT : Stoppage of Audit of 1992 Internal Revenue Tax Liabilities TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned Pending issuance of guidelines for the examination of internal revenue tax liabilities for 1992, all heads of investigating units are hereby directed not to issue Letters of Authority to audit income and other internal revenue tax liabilities (except transfer and capital gains taxes) for 1992. Ongoing audits and investigation of 1992 tax liabilities pursuant to Letters of Authority already issued are hereby suspended until further instructions. (Sgd.) Victor A.
