April 28, 1997 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 22-97 TO : All Internal Revenue Officers and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Amendments to RMO 5-97 dated January 22, 1997 Prescribing Guidelines and Procedures in Monitoring the Implementation and Activation of the ITS in the NO, RDC, RO and RDO I. OBJECTIVES 1. To Clarify and modify the execution of the Operations Readiness Evaluation 2. To provide additional checks in the checklists of Roll-out Requirements to ensure "completeness" of roll-out verification. LLjur II. OPERATIONS READINESS EVALUATION Operations Readiness Evaluation shall be performed in two phases: Phase I Operations Readiness Evaluation of a site roll-out which will be conducted by the Roll-out Assistance Team 15 days before roll-out date. The Operations Readiness Evaluation checklist (Annex C of RMO 5-97) will be used for this purpose. Phase II Operations Readiness Evaluation of a system roll-out which will be conducted by the Operations Readiness Evaluation Team (to be assisted by expert users/ASM) on the first 15 days of system roll-out. The Project Steering Committee (PSC) Chairperson shall be responsible for the preparation of an Operations Readiness Evaluation checklist that is relevant to the application being rolled-out, using as guide Annex B of RMO 5-97 as amended. III. ADDITIONAL ITEMS FOR CHECKLIST OF ROLLOUT REQUIREMENTS To ensure "completeness" of roll-out verification, the following additional items are now added to the relevant checklists of Roll-out Requirements under RMO 5-97 (see attachments) Forms * Available on-site * Sufficient Supply Manuals * Distribution on-site Security * Proper roles/access are given Software * Modules are migrated * Codes tables are complete Workstation/Printers * Properly set-up Implementation Guidelines * RMO on guidelines and procedures issued * RSO on Staffing and assignments issued IV. EFFECTIVITY This order shall take effect immediately upon approved.
