March 24, 1966 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 22-66 SUBJECT : Granting Authority to the Cash and Disbursement Division, Bureau of Internal Revenue, to Issue Strip Stamps for Smoking and Chewing Tobaccos Without Numbers TO : The Chief, Cash and Disbursement Division; All Internal Revenue Officers; and others concerned In view of the inability of the Cash and Disbursements Division to cope with the numbering of internal revenue strip stamps for smoking and chewing tobaccos, the said strip stamps without numbers are hereby authorized to be issued by the Chief, Cash and Disbursement Division to bona-fide purchasers of the same. The smoking and chewing tobacco factories using these strip stamps must follow strictly the manner of cancellation of the stamps upon affixture to containers of smoking and/or chewing tobaccos. lexlib This memorandum order takes effect upon approval.
