May 27, 1982 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 21-82 SUBJECT : Prescribing the Wearing of the New Sets of Uniform for 1982 by All Lady Employees in the Bureau TO : All Regional Directors, Revenue Service Chiefs, Division Chiefs, Branch Chiefs, Revenue District Officers, All Lady Employees, and Others Concerned Effective August 2, all lady employees are hereby required to wear their new uniforms pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 658 of the Office of the President. To allow sufficient time for washing, the following schedule on the wearing of uniforms shall be followed: casia Mondays and Tuesdays - Uniform Wednesdays - Civilian dress Thursdays and Fridays - Uniform In order to keep within the purpose of the abovestated Memorandum Circular No. 658, the following are prescribed: 1. The wearing of jeans, others, culottes, pedal pushers, or other similar attire is strictly prohibited. This prohibition applies all permanent, temporary, contractual or casual employees. 2. Expectant mothers shall not be required to wear the uniform after the third month of their pregnancy. However, they should wear appropriate maternity dresses and not dusters, or peasant dress, or floor length dresses during their pregnancy. 3. Except on Wednesdays allotted for civilian dress, employees in mourning should not wear black to office. Responsibility of Implementation All supervisors shall be held responsible for strict implementation of the above rules. An employee under their supervision who repeatedly and willfully violates these rules is a reflection of their laxity and ineffectiveness as supervisors. Employees who observe repeated violations of this order may report such violations to the Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioners or to the Revenue Service Chief, Inspection, for disciplinary action. cdt Violations shall be dealt with administratively in accordance with the Civil Service Law and Rules on discipline.
