June 7, 1988 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 19-88 SUBJECT : Handbook on Alphanumeric Tax Code of Revenue Sources Creation of New Categories and Revision of Codes TO : All Collection Agents, RPO-Issuing Officers, Cash Clerks and Others Concerned In order to provide for a more detailed reporting and monitoring of taxes, the following classifications are hereby created and the respective alphanumeric tax codes assigned: Kinds of Taxes Alphanumeric Tax Codes A. On interest from bank deposits or yield from deposit substitutes, trust funds or similar arrangements: 1. From bank deposits - a) Individual WI161 b) Corporate WC161 2. From Treasury Bills - WC162 3. From deposit substitutes, trust funds and other similar arrangements - a) Individual WI163 b) Corporate WC163 B. Other Miscellaneous Taxes MC070 Accordingly, the following alphanumeric tax codes are hereby repealed: WI160 WC160 EFFECTIVITY: The provisions of this Revenue Memorandum Order shall take effect immediately.
