April 10, 1997 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 18-97 TO : All Regional Directors, Assistant Regional Directors and Others Concerned SUBJECT : Signatories of Checks Drawn against Regional Bank Accounts Relative to checks drawn-against bank accounts authorized under-Revenue Memorandum Order No. 11-97 dated March 25, 1997, and in amendment of the said issuance, the following officials are hereby designated as signing officials: Signing Official: Chief; Finance Division Countersigning Officials: Regional Director Asst. Regional Director, as alternate The Assistant Regional Director is authorized to countersign when the regular incumbent regional director is absent or if the region concerned does not have a designated regional director. However, a report on all checks drawn against BIR accounts must be made by the Asst. Regional Director to the duly designated regional director, once the latter has officially assumed office thereat.
