Designation of Authorized Signatories in Refund Checks Representing Overpayment of Withholding Tax on Wages

April 15, 1974 REVENUE MEMORANDUM ORDER NO. 17-74 1. In view of the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 69 specially with reference to the earning of interest at the rate of 6% per annum in the case of late refunds, it is imperative that delay should be reduced to the minimum in processing the same. In view thereof, refund checks arising from excess withholding tax on wages will be signed by the following. cdt a) Messrs. Leonardo L Cabaero Revenue Operations Head or Mr. Roberto P. Clemente Assistant Revenue Operations Head, both of the Assessment Department. b) Warrants in the amount of P200 or less may be signed by the signometer in the name of Mr. Leonardo L. Cabaero, Revenue Operations Head, Assessment Department. 2. This Revenue Memorandum Order amends Revenue Memorandum Order No. 19-73 as amended by Revenue Memorandum Order No. 23-73 in so far as it affects the authority for signing refund warrants. 3.
